Abstract

Abstract Translated

This fatwa was issued in response to a question asked about the inheritance of a woman who was divorced by her terminally ill husband, before his death and without her consent. The Sheikh replied that if his illness was confirmed, and he passed away whilst the woman was in her ‘iddah (waiting period), she inherits him. However, if his illness was not confirmed, she does not inherit him.
