أصدرت هذه الفتوى من قبل الشيخ عبد المجيد سليم ردا على سؤال عن حكم الشرع في إلتزام العم بمصاريف علاج إبن أخيه الفقيروبأجرة الطبيب وثمن الأدوية. أجاب الشيخ بأن على العم الموسر نفقة العلاج وأجرة الطبيب لإبن أخيه الفقير.

This fatwa was issued by Sheikh Abd al-Majid Salim in response to a question asked about the sharia-based rulings concerning the uncle’s obligation towards financing the treatment, physician’s wages and medication costs of his nephew. The Sheikh replied that a wealthy uncle is obliged to cover the treatment costs and physician’s wages for his poor nephew.
