In this book, Yusuf al-Dijwi deals with various topics related to happiness, ethics and Islamic sharia. Firstly, he begins to deal with spiritualties, proving the soul and diseases of the heart. He then discusses ethics and sharia as a source of happiness, and compares between sharia and positive law. He then deals with the subject of religion as a source of true politics and correct education, and prophetic sayings (hadith) on moral ethics. He also discusses hypocrites and the difference between religious and non-religious persons, and the impact of good and evil deeds on the heart of doers.
