يتكون هذا الكتاب من ثلاثة فصول. الفصل الأول يتناول موضوع العدوى بين الطب والحديث، وبالأخص الفيروسات والبكتيريا ومرض الجذام وأنواعه. الفصل الثاني يتناول موضوع الطاعون ويحتوي على نبذة تاريخية عنه، ثم يتناول سبب الطاعون وطرق إنتشاره. الفصل الثالث يناقش جهاز المناعة لدى الإنسان والعوازل الطبيعية الواقية من الميكروبات مثل الجلد والأجهزة المخاطية. يتناول أيضا العوامل التي تضعف جهاز المناعة مثل التدخين وشرب الكحول وإستخدام المضادات الحيوية وغيرها من العوامل. يحتوي الفصل الثالث على ملحق يوضح أسباب العدوى للمهتمين بالعلوم الطبية.

This book consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the subject of contagious diseases between medicine and hadith, especially viruses, bacteria and leprosy and its types. The second chapter deals with the subject of the plague and a brief history of it, and then it deals with the causes of the plague and ways of its spread. The third chapter discusses the immune system of the human body, and the natural protectors from microbes such as the skin and mucus glands. It also deals with factors that weaken the immune system such as smoking, drinking alcohol, and using antibiotics in addition to other factors. The third chapter also contains an appendix that explains the reasons behind contagious diseases for those interested in medical sciences.
