يتناول الكتاب موضوع تحسين النسل بالطرق المختلفة، ورأي الشريعة الإسلامية فيها. ويتكون هذا الكتاب من فصلين. يتناول الفصل الأول وسائل تحسين النسل الطبيعية وتاريخها والعلاقة بينها وبين تحديد النسل، والفحص الوراثي وأثره على تحسين النسل، والحكم الشرعي للفحص الطبي قبل الزواج، والفحص الوراثي قبل وأثناء الحمل، واختيار جنس الجنين، وتحديد النسل. أما الفصل الثاني فيناقش وسائل تحسين النسل السلوكية والأخلاقية والخلقية في الشريعة الإسلامية.
Abstract Translated
This book deals with the topic of eugenics using different methods and the stance of sharia regarding them. It consists of two chapters. The first chapter deals with methods of natural eugenics, their history and relationship with birth control; genetic testing and its effect on eugenics; the jurisprudential ruling concerning medical tests before marriage, genetic testing before and during pregnancy, sex pre-selection, and birth control. The second chapter discusses the means of behavioral, ethical and congenital eugenics in Islamic law.
