يتناول الكتاب موضوع الضرر المعنوي وتعويضه في الفقه الإسلامي في بابين. في الباب الأول، يناقش الكتاب حقيقة الضرر، ومبدأ منعه، وتعريفه، و أنواع الضرر الجسدي والمعنوي، و طرق التعويض المالية و الغير مالية عن الضرر المعنوي. أما الباب الثاني، فيتناول التطبيقات الفقهية للتعويض المالي عن الضرر المعنوي كالتعويض عن الأضرار الناجمة عن الطلاق والزنا و القذف بالزنا، و التعويض عن الأضرار المعنوية الناشئة عن الأضرار الجسدية مثل الإجهاض والقتل بالدية من منظور فقهي وقانوني. كما يناقش دور حكومة العدل في التعويض عن الضرر المعنوي.

This book deals with the subject of moral harm and its compensation in Islamic jurisprudence in two sections. In the first section, the book deals with the reality of harm, and the ways of preventing it, its definition, the types of harm such as physical and moral harm, the methods of non-financial compensation for moral harm, and financial compensation. The second section deals with the jurisprudential applications for financial compensation for moral harm such as compensation for harm resulting from divorce, adultery, and accusations of adultery, and the compensation for moral harm caused by physical harm such as abortion and murder, by paying blood money from a jurisprudential and legal perspective. It also discusses the role of equitable assessment in compensation for moral harm.
