يتناول الكتاب موضوع الجينات البشرية من منظور شرعي. يتكون الكتاب من فصلين: الأول يبحث الجوانب الإيجابية للهندسة الوراثية والمصالح التي حققتها الهندسة الوراثية في مجالات الزراعة والطب والأدوية والغذاء. الفصل الثاني يناقش الأضرار والمفاسد الناجمة عن بحوث وتطبيقات الهندسة الوراثية خاصة في مجال الإستنساخ البشري، ومدى إمكانية تحقيق مصالح شرعية عن طريق الإستنساخ.

This book discusses the subject of human genetics from a shariah-based perspective. The book consists of two chapters: the first discusses the positive aspects of genetic engineering and the benefits genetic engineering has achieved in the fields of agriculture, medicine, medications and food. The second chapter discusses the damage and harm caused by the research and applications of genetic engineering especially in the field of human cloning, and the possibility of achieving legitimate interests through cloning.
