تم تقديم هذا البحث إلى المؤتمر العالمي الرابع عن الطب الإسلامي المنعقد في الكويت خلال الفترة 9-13 نوفمبر1986. السؤال الرئيسي لهذا البحث مفاده: ما هي الأحكام الشرعية التي تتعلق بحفظ الصحة؟ ولأجل محاولة الإجابة على هذا السؤال، يستعين المؤلف باستشهادات مطولة من القرآن والسنة وبالإشارة أيضا إلى عدد من القواعد الفقهية.

Abstract Translated

This paper was presented to the fourth international conference on Islamic medicine held in Kuwait during the period 09-13 November 1986. The main question of this paper reads, what are the Sharia-based rulings pertaining to preserving health? With the help of extensive quotations from the Koran and Sunna and also by making reference to Islamic legal norms, the author tries to answer this question.
