Abstract Translated
The book discusses the authority of DNA fingerprinting in criminal investigation and genealogical purposes according to the rules of Islamic sharia and legislation in many Arab countries. It consists of three main chapters: DNA fingerprinting; the role of DNA fingerprinting in criminal investigation; and the attitude of Islamic sharia towards the use of DNA fingerprinting in criminal investigation.
