يتناول هذا الكتاب موضوع تنظيم الأسرة والنسل في ثلاثة أقسام. القسم الأول عبارة عن نبذة تاريخية عن القوانين المتعلقة بتنظيم النسل والأسرة في مصر. القسم الثاني يناقش قانون العائلة في الدولة العثمانية ثم في لبنان والسودان ومصر. ثم يتناول تنظيم الأسرة في قوانين البلاد العربية والإسلامية، خاصة في العراق، الأردن، سوريا، تونس والمغرب. القسم الثالث يتناول الإتجاهات في تنظيم الأسرة في مصر مثل تعدد الزوجات، الطلاق، شروط عقد الزواج والحضانة. ثم يتناول موضوع تنظيم النسل من منظور إسلامي.

This book deals with the subject of family planning and birth control in three sections. The first section is a brief history of the laws related to family planning and birth control in Egypt. The second chapter discusses family law in the Ottoman Empire then in Lebanon, Sudan and Egypt. It then deals with family planning in the legislation of the Arab and Islamic countries, especially in Iraq, Jordon, Syria, Tunisia and Morocco. The third section deals with several issues related to family planning in Egypt such as, polygamy, divorce, conditions of the marriage contract and custody. Then it deals with birth control from an Islamic perspective.
