أصدرت هذه الفتوى ردا على سؤال عن التأمين على الحياة وهل يوزع المبلغ من هذا التأمين بعد وفاة الشخص على الورثة. أجاب الشيخ بأن هذا التأمين غير جائز شرعا وقيمة التأمين لا تقسم بين الورثة. أما عن المبلغ الذي دفعه المتوفي للشركة يعتبر تركة وتقسم بين الورثة.

This fatwa was issued in response to a question about life insurance, and whether the amount of money from the insurance after the death of the insured is distributed to the inheritors. The Sheikh replied that this insurance is legally impermissible, and the value of the insurance is not to be distributed to the inheritors. As for the amount paid by the deceased to the insurance company, is considered to be inheritance and is distributed to the inheritors.
