أصدرت هذه الفتوى ردا على سؤال عن جواز حشو الأسنان أو تركيب غطاء لها بالذهب أو الفضة والبلاتين. وسئل أيضا عن حكم المضمضة في الوضوء مع عدم وصول الماء تحت سن الذهب أو الفضة أو البلاتين. أجاب الشيخ بجواز إستعمال هذه المعادن في حشو الأسنان وغطاؤها، ولا يجب غسل ما تحت هذه الأشياء في الوضوء.

This fatwa was issued in response to a question asked about the permissibility of filling teeth or sealing them with gold, silver or platinum. It was also asked about mouth rinsing during ablution, and the inability of water to reach under the gold, silver or platinum tooth. The Sheikh replied with the permissibility of using these metals to fill and seal the teeth. Additionally, rinsing beneath these metals is not compulsory during ablution.
