أصدرت هذه الفتوى ردا على سؤال عما إذا يثبت نسب المقر له اللقيط من المقر الذمي وعما إذا كان للمقر له الأحقية في ميراث المقر. أجاب الشيخ بأن نسب المقر له من المقر يثبت خاصة إذا صدق هذا النسب من قبل المقر. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، أجاب الشيخ بأن اللقيط الذي وجد في مكان أهل الذمة فهو ذمي طالما الواجد له ذميا، ولذلك يرث المقر له المقر.

This fatwa was issued in response to a question about whether the paternity of the foundling claimed by a non-Muslim claimant is proven and whether the claimed foundling has the right to inherit the claimant. The Sheikh replied that the paternity of the claimed foundling by the claimant is proven, particularly if this paternity was ratified by the claimant. Additionally, the Sheikh replied that the foundling found in a non-Muslim location becomes a non-Muslim, as long as the finder is a non-Muslim, and thus the claimed foundling inherits the claimant.
