أصدرت هذه الفتوى من قبل الشيخ حسنين محمد مخلوف ردا على سؤال طرح عن إذا كان علاج الفرج بنترات الفضة تفطر في رمضان. أجاب الشيخ أن السائل الذي يدخل في الجسم نتيجة هذا العلاج يؤدي إلى إفساد الصيام وعلى المرأة قضاء ما أفطرته.

This fatwa was issued by Sheikh Hasanayn Muhammad Makhluf in response to a question asked about whether vaginal treatment with silver nitrate invalidates the fast during Ramadan. The Shiekh replied that given that liquids enter the body as a result of this treatment, it leads to the invalidation of the fast and thus the women has to make up for what she missed during Ramadan.
