ينقسم هذا الكتاب إلى جزئين عن مواضيع طبية عديدة من منظور فقهي. يحتوي الجزء الأول على إحدى وسبعين مسألة طبية. ومن أبرز المسائل المناقشة في هذا الجزء هي، حكم التداوي، أثر الإضطرار والحاجة في رفع الأحكام الإلزامية، الإجهاض، منع الحمل، التحكم في جنس الجنين، قطع الأعضاء وزرع الأعضاء التناسلية. يتناول أيضا الأحكام الفقهية المتعلقة بمرض الإيدز، الترقيع، المواد النجسة والمحرمة في الدواء والغذاء، الأحكام الفقهية لطب الأسنان، الإستنساخ والإنتفاع في الذهب والحرير. أما الجزء الثاني من الكتاب، فيحتوي على إثنى وأربعين مسألة طبية من منظور فقهي. ومن المسائل المطروحة في هذا الجزء هي الجينوم والبصمة والهندسة الوراثية، زواج الأقارب، التخدير والمخدرات، المسنين وحقوقهم، الموت وأسبابه وعلاماته، نسب الأولاد، بالإضافة إلى بيان من المنظمة الإسلامية للعلوم الطبية.

This book is divided into two volumes on various medical issues from a jurisprudential perspective. The first volume contains seventy one medical issues. Amongst the most highlighted issues discussed in this volume are, the rules of treatment, the effect of necessity and exigency in removing compulsory provisions, abortion, contraception, sex determination, removing organs and transplanting reproductive organs. It also deals with the jurisprudential issues related to AIDS, grafting, impure and forbidden substances in medicine and food, jurisprudential provisions of dentistry, cloning and making use of gold and silk. As for the second volume of this book, it contains forty two medical issues from a jurisprudential perspective. Amongst the issues dealt with in this volume are the human genome and genetic fingerprinting and engineering, consanguineous marriage, anesthetic and drugs, the aged and their rights, death and its reasons and signs, paternity, in addition to a statement from the Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences.
