يبدأ هذا المقال بمناقشة حقوق الطفل في الإسلام من خلال الإشارة إلى عدد من الآيات القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية التي حثت على العناية بالطفل. ثم يستعرض المؤلف واقع الأطفال في عالم اليوم وما يعانونه من مشاكل بسبب الحروب والمجاعات وتدهور الأخلاق بشكل عام.

This article starts with discussing the rights of the children in Islam by making reference to a number of the Qur’anic verses and prophetic traditions which promoted taking care of the children. The greater part of the article is dedicated to reviewing the reality of the children in the today’s world and the problems they suffer because of wars, famines and the deterioration of ethics in general.
