يستعرض المؤلف في هذا المقال حقوق المسنين في بابين رئيسيين. في الباب الأول يناقش ما أسماه بالحقوق العامة للمسنين في الإسلام ومنها البروالإحسان إليهم والرعاية الصحية وأيضا واجبات المسنين نحو المجتمع. وفي الباب الثاني يناقش الكاتب النظريات الأوروبية والأمريكية لرعاية المسنين.

In this article, the author reviews the rights of the aged in two main parts. In the first part, the author addresses what he called 'the public rights' of the aged in Islam including healthcare and treating them with goodness. In the same part, the author discusses the obligations of the aged towards society. In the second part, the author discusses the European and American theories concerning care for the aged.
