يمثل هذا المقال محاولة لإعادة النظر في عدد من أحكام الفقهية المتعلقة بصيام المريض الذي يتناول أدوية معينة بناء على المستجدات الطبية. من الأمثلة التي يتعرض لها الكاتب، التخدير الموضعي والتخدير الكلي والحقن الشرجية وإدخال أجهزة أو أدوية في فرج المرأة.

This article reevaluates a number of the juristic rulings, pertaining to the patient who takes specific medications during fasting, on the basis of updated medical information. As examples, the author discusses (local) anesthesia, enema and vaginal examination.
