يناقش المقال الشروط الشرعية لتذكية الحيوان في الإسلام وإلى أي مدى يحل للمسلم أن يأكل من ذبائح أهل الكتاب من اليهود والنصاري. كما يتطرق المقال إلى الخلاف الفقهي حول حكم اللحوم المستوردة من بلاد غير إسلامية.

The article reviews the Sharia-based conditions for the ritual slaughter of animals in Islam and to what extent a Muslim is allowed to partake of animals slaughtered by Jews and Christians. The article also discusses the different juristic opinions regarding the (im)permissibility of the meat imported from non-Muslim countries.
