يتناول هذا الكتاب مواضيع عديدة في الطب والحكمة من منظور إسلامي. يتكون من 196 باباً وفي كل باب يناقش قضية معينة مثل: علم الطبيعة وعلاج أمراض مختلفة كالصداع وأوجاع الأذن والعين والزكام وإستعمال المراهم للجروح، تسويد الشعر وتبيض الأسنان وعلاجهم وعلاج أمراض مختلفة في جسم الإنسان ومفاصله. كما يتناول أيضا بعض الأمور المتعلقة بالمرأة وحملها ووجع الرحم والإجهاض. إضافة إلى ذلك، يناقش بعض الأمور المتعلقة بالطعام والشراب وإستخدام الذهب والمعادن والأصبغة.

This book deals with various issues in medicine and therapy from an Islamic perspective. It contains 196 sections and each section discuss a specific issue such as: the science of nature and treating different illnesses like headaches, ear and eye pain, the flu, and using ointments for wounds. It also discusses the subject of dyeing hair in black, teeth whitening and treating different illnesses in the human body and its joints. It also deals with some issues related to women, pregnancy, uterus pain and abortion. In addition to this, it discusses some issues related to food, drinks, and the use of gold and metals and dyes.
