يناقش الكتاب موضوع بنوك النطف ورأي الشريعة الإسلامية فيها، بالإضافة إلى عدد من الموضوعات كالأم البديلة والتلقيح الصناعي. ويتكون من فصل تمهيدي عن أنواع النطف والأجنة والتطور التاريخي للإخصاب الطبي. ثم ينقسم الكتاب إلى ثلاث أبواب. يناقش الباب الأول أنواع الإنجاب الطبيعي الشرعي والغير شرعي والإخصاب الصناعي ومدى مشروعيته، بالإضافة إلى التبرع بالنطفة والبيضة والرحم. ويناقش الباب الثاني الأحكام المتعلقة بالممارسات التي تتم في إطار بنوك النطف والأجنة والقواعد الفقهية المتعلقة في هذا الموضوع. كما يتناول موضوع الإجهاض والإسقاط، ورأي الفقهاء بالإخصاب والتلقيح الصناعي والرحم البديل. ويناقش الباب الثالث آثار الإخصاب خاصة في نسب المولود.

This book deals with the topic of gamete banks, the opinion of Sharia regarding it, in addition to a number of related topics such as surrogate mothers and artificial insemination. It consists of a preliminary chapter on the types of sperms and embryos, and the historical development for medical fertilization. The book then divides into three sections. The first section discusses the types of natural reproduction, the permissible and impermissible, and in vitro fertilization and the extent of its legitimacy, in addition to donating sperm, ovum and wombs. The second section discusses the rulings related to the practices that take place in the scope of sperm and embryo banks, and the jurisprudential issues related to this subject. It also deals with the subject of abortion and miscarriage, and the jurists’ opinion regarding in vitro fertilization, artificial insemination and surrogacy. The third section discusses the effects of in vitro fertilization especially on the lineage of the child.
