يتكون الكتاب من سبعة فصول, يناقش فيها أحكام الذبائح عند المسلمين وأهل الكتاب. الفصل الأول يعرف الذكاة وبيان مشروعيتها وأركانها وحكمها. الفصل الثاني يتناول الذابح المسلم والغير مسلم. الفصل الثالث يناقش الذبيحة، ومن بينها الذبيحة المسروقة والمريضة والمغصوبة. الفصل الرابع يناقش كيفية الذكاة، أنواعها ومستحباتها ومكروهاتها. الفصل الخامس يتناول موضوع الآلات التي تستعمل في الذبح. السادس يناقش حكم أكل ما قطع من أو انفصل عن الحيوان بعد وأثناء تذكيته. الفصل الأخير يتناول موضوع الأطعمة المستوردة من الدول الغير مسلمة..
Abstract Translated
This book contains seven chapters which discuss the rulings related to slaughtering by Muslims and people of the book. The first chapter defines slaughtering and illustrates its permissibility, pillars and rulings. The second chapter deals with the Muslim and non-Muslim slaughterer. The third chapter discusses the types of animals slaughtered, and amongst them the stolen, usurped and ill. The fourth discusses the methods of slaughtering, its types, and its desirable and non-desirable aspects. The fifth chapter deals with the subject of equipment used in slaughtering. The sixth discusses the rulings of eating what has been disconnected or cut from the animal during or after it has been slaughtered. The last chapter deals with the subject of foods imported from non-Muslim countries.
