تم تقديم هذا البحث إلى المؤتمر العالمي الخامس عن الطب الإسلامي المنعقد في الكويت خلال الفترة 20-23 نوفمبر 1988. يعرض البحث رؤية المؤلف للأخلاقيات الطبية من منظور إسلامي وينادي بأن يصبح تدريس مثل هذه المواضيع ضمن المواد الرئيسية لبرامج التعليم الطبي.

This paper was presented to the fifth international conference on Islamic medicine held in Kuwait during the period 20-23 November 1988. The paper presents the author’s vision for medical ethics from an Islamic, especially religio-legal, perspective and argues that teaching such a topic should be incorporated into medical education programs as one of the main courses.
