يتناول البحث الأحكام الشرعية المتعلقة بالحيض والنفاس والحمل ويتكون من أربعة مباحث رئيسية: تعريف الحيض والنفاس؛ وقت الحيض والنفاس ومدتهما؛ أدلة الفقهاء في مسائل البحث؛ و تحقيق القول في أقل مدة الحمل وأكثرها. .

The chapter discusses the sharia-based rules pertaining to menstruation, postnatal bleeding, and pregnancy in light of modern medical knowledge. It consists of four main sections: definition of menstruation and postnatal bleeding; time and duration of menstruation and postnatal bleeding; juristic evidence on these issues; and verification of minimum and maximum periods for pregnancy.
