The book comprises a comparative study on the civil liability for the hazards of chemical materials in Islamic jurisprudence and civil law with a particular focus on the Egyptian law. It consists of a preliminary chapter on the historical development of the concept of legal responsibility and two main chapters: contractual responsibility for the hazards of chemical materials and liability for the hazards of chemical materials
