This book discusses in vitro fertilization through the lens of Islamic jurisprudence and it consists of four main chapters: natural insemination, the meaning of in vitro fertilization, reasons for the procedure, the legality of seeking medication, and treatment of infertility; internal and external artificial insemination and its sharia-based ruling; rulings pertaining to in vitro fertilization; and scattered rulings related to in vitro fertilization in Islamic jurisprudence.
