This book discusses several issues related to the implications of contagious diseases from the perspectives of sharia and medicine. It consists of four main chapters: contagious diseases in medicine and jurisprudence; sharia implications of contracting a sexually transmitted disease; sharia implications of contracting a disease through other means; and precautionary measures for the prevention of contagion.
