تم تقديم هذا البحث إلى الندوة التي عقدتها المنظمة الإسلامية للعلوم الطبية حول زراعة الأعضاء في الكويت أثناء الفترة 23-24 أكتوبر من عام 1989. يتبنى المؤلف الرأي القائل بأن المولود عديم الدماغ يتمتع بالحرمة الإنسانية الكاملة وبالتالي لا يمكن استخدامه كمصدر للأعضاء البشرية بهدف إجراء بحوث علمية.

This paper was submitted to the symposium held by the Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences (IOMS) during the period 23-24 October 1989 on organ transplantation. The author argues that the baby born with anencephaly enjoys complete human dignity and thus cannot be used as a source for human organs or for scientific research purposes.
