يتناول الكتاب موضوع العدة بعد وفاة الزوج أو الطلاق وحكمها الشرعي والأحكام المتصلة بها وبالتحديد للمرأة الحامل. ويتناول الكتاب تعريف العدة، والحكمة من تشريعها، وأنواع العدة، وأحكامها. كما يركز الكتاب على عدة الحامل ويتناول أحكامها من حيث وقت وجوبها ووقت انقضائها وتأثير الولادة والإسقاط وعمر الجنين على مدتها.

Abstract Translated

This book deals with the topic of Iddah (waiting period) after the death of the husband or divorce, its jurisprudential rulings, and the rulings related to it specifically in the case of the pregnant woman. It deals with the definition of the waiting period, the wisdom behind its legislation, its types, and rulings. Also, it focuses on the waiting period of the pregnant woman in terms of its rulings, its beginning, its end, as well as the influence of childbirth, miscarriage, and the age of the fetus on its duration.
