This book deals with the topic of male and female circumcision from a jurisprudential, medical, and legal perspective. It consists of two chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of circumcision, its history, the position of Judaism, and Christianity regarding female circumcision, its legitimacy, the wisdom behind it, the amount that is cut during circumcision, its timing, the ruling of male circumcision, and the opinion of physicians regarding male circumcision. The second chapter deals with the ruling of female circumcision, the position of the House of Fatwas 'Dār al-Iftāʼ', the law, and physicians regarding female circumcision.
