Abstract
Abstract Translated
This research was presented to the First International Conference on Islamic Medicine held in Kuwait during the period 12-16 January 1981. The author starts with reviewing the concepts of sickness and healing in the Old Testament and New Testament. Then he assures that the Islamic approach to these two concepts differs from that of the Old and New Testaments but it strikingly coincides with the modern trends in psychiatry.
