Abstract
This article talks about physicians and medical professionals participating in human rights violations and torture. It discusses different types of violations using modern medical techniques for the purpose of interrogation such as 'injections and intra-venous drips, voice-stress recorders and polygraphs, Electroencephalographs (EEG) and Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) machines'. Furthermore, it presents the question of whether medical professionals must participate in such activities if it was ordered by court. Also, it questions the ethicality of the death penalty performed by physicians since it violates their basic professional principles that states 'do no harm'.
