أصدرت هذه الفتوى ردا على سؤال عن شرعية رد الزوجة بعد طلاقها وإنقضاء الحيض. أجاب الشيخ بما أن الزوج رفع دعوى مطالبا بإبطال نفقتها برؤيتها الحيض ثلاثة مرات، فرجعتها غير جائزة، حتى لو حلفت يمين بأنها لم تر دم الحيض إلا مرة واحدة من تاريخ الطلاق.

This fatwa was issued in response to a question asked about the legitimacy of the husband returning to his wife after divorce and after three periods of menstruation. The Sheikh replied that since the husband proceeded with a court case against his wife to end maintenance during iddah (waiting period) as she went through three periods of menstruation, returning to her is not permissible. This is the case even though the woman swore that she only went through one period of menstruation after the date of divorce.
