يناقش هذا الكتاب الفوائد الطبية الناجمة عن أركان الإسلام والعبادات. الفصل الأول يناقش طب الصلاة والفوائد الصحية من المشي إلى الصلاة، توافق مواقيت الصلاة مع أوقات النشاط الفسيولوجي للجسم، الحكمة من تحريم الصلاة على الحائض وفوائد الصلاة البدنية للحامل. الفصل الثاني يناقش الزكاة والأبعاد التربوية والإجتماعية والإقتصادية للزكاة، ومناقشة الزكاة كعلاج للإكتئاب والأمراض النفسية. الفصل الثالث يناقش الفوائد الصحية للصيام ودوره في ضبط ضغط الدم والسكر وآلام المفاصل، بالإضافة إلى الإعجاز الطبي في عدم شرب الماء في الصيام وفي الإفطار على التمر. الفصل الرابع والأخير يناقش الفوائد الصحية والبدنية من القيام بفريضة الحج.
Abstract Translated
This book discusses the medical benefits resulting from the pillars of Islam and of Islamic rituals. The first chapter discusses the medical aspects of prayer, and the health benefits of walking to prayer, the agreement of prayer times with the physiological activities of the body, the wisdom of forbidding prayer for menstruating women, and the benefits of prayer for pregnant women. The second chapter discusses zakat (alms payment) and the educational, social and economic dimensions of zakah. It also discusses zakah as a treatment for depression and psychological illnesses. The third chapter discusses the health benefits of fasting and its role in controlling blood pressure, sugar levels and joint pains, in addition to the medical miracle of not drinking water during the fast, and of breaking the fast by eating dates. The fourth and final chapter discusses the health and bodily benefits in performing pilgrimage.
