يبدأ هذا الكتاب بتعريف اللون وأقسامه ثم ينقسم إلى ثلاثة أبواب. الباب الأول يتناول أحكام اللون في العبادات في ستة فصول. الفصل الأول يناقش أحكام اللون وتغيير لون الماء في الطهارة، الطلاء وأثره في الإستعمال، أثر تغير لون البدن بإستعمال الماء في الطهارة وأثر ألوان السوائل الطبيعية الخارجة من المرأة في التمييز بين دم الحائض وغيره. الفصل الثاني يناقش أحكام اللون في الصلاة مثل ألوان الظواهر الكونية بأوقات الصلاة، أحكام الألوان في اللباس وأثرها في الصلاة، والزخرفة بالألوان في المساجد والأبنية. الفصل الثالث والرابع يتناولان أحكام الألوان في الجنائز والزكاة، والخامس والسادس يتناولان أحكام اللون في الحج ولباس الإحرام وأثر عمى الألوان في العبادات. الباب الثاني يحتوي على خمسة فصول عن أحكام الألوان في المعاملات، في فقه الأسرة والنكاح والنسب، في العقوبات وفي الأطعمة والمرافعات. الباب الثالث يحتوي على أربعة فصول عن الأحكام الطبية الخاصة باللون. ومن المواضيع المطروحة في هذا الباب هي تغيير لون الجسم بالألوان غير الباقية، أحكام العمليات التجميلية المتعلقة باللون، الجراحات الزراعية المتعلقة باللون والهندسة الوراثية وصلتها باللون.

This book consists of a preliminary introduction on the definition of color and its categories and three main sections. The first section deals with rules of color in rituals in six chapters. The first chapter discusses the rules related to color and the change of water’s color on purity, paint and its impact, the impact of the change in body color as a result of the use of water on the state of purity, and the effect of the color of natural fluids discharged from the women in differentiating between menstruation blood and other fluids. The second chapter discusses the rules of color in prayer, such as the impact of the colors of the cosmic phenomenon on prayer times, rules pertaining to colors in clothes and their impact on prayer, and decorating mosques and buildings with colors. The third and fourth chapters deal with the rules of color related to funerals and zakah (alms), and the fifth and sixth deal with the rules of color related to hajj and hajj clothing, and the impact of color blindness in religious rituals. The second section contains five chapters on the rules of color related to transactions, family jurisprudence, marriage and paternity, punishment, food and pleadings. The third section contains four chapters on medical rules concerned with color. Amongst the subjects touched upon in this section are change in body color by temporary colors, the rules of cosmetic surgery related to color, transplantation surgery related to color and genetic engineering and its relationship with color.
