يبدأ هذا المقال بتعريف التأمين الصحي ثم يركز المؤلف على الأحكام الفقهية ذات الصلة وما إذا كان وجود عنصر الغرر مؤثرا على صحة عقد التأمين الصحي. وفي الختام يناقش الباحث حكم الاشتراط مع الطبيب على الشفاء. ويركز الباحث بشكل خاص على عرض الآراء الفقهية للمذهب الجعفري لدى الشيعة الإمامية.

This article starts with a definition for health insurance as a technical term. Then the author focuses on the relevant juristic rulings and if the element of uncertainty may affect the validity of the health insurance contract. At the end of the article, the author discusses the (im)permissibility of stipulating healing from the physician. The author is particularly interested in elaborating the opinions of the Jaʻfarī school within the Shīʻī tradition.
