Abstract
يبحث هذا الكتاب في شخصية وسلوك المدخنين ومقارنتهم بغير المدخنين ومقارنتهم بأنفسهم حسب درجة الإعتماد على النيكوتين. تهدف الدراسة إلى الكشف عن معدلات إنتشار التدخين لدى الشباب الذكور في جامعة الكويت، ومعرفة دوافع التدخين ومعدلات إنتشار المدمنين وسلوك الإقلاع عن التدخين. يحتوي الكتاب على أربعة فصول. الفصل الأول يعرض أهداف وأهمية ومفاهيم الدراسة. الفصل الثاني يعرض الدراسات السابقة المتعلقة في موضوع التدخين. الفصل الثالث يعرض عينة الدراسة وأدواتها، والخصائص السيكومترية للمقاييس المستخدمة في الدراسة. الفصل الرابع يعرض نتائج الدراسة ويناقشها ويقارن بين الدراسة الحالية والدراسات العربية والأجنبية.
Abstract Translated
This book searches into the personalities and behavior of smokers, and compares them with non-smokers and compares them with themselves according to their dependence on nicotine. The study aims to expose the rate of spread of smoking amongst male youth in the University of Kuwait. The book consists of four chapters. The first chapter presents the aims, importance and concepts of the study. The second chapter presents the previous studies related to the subject of smoking. The third chapter presents the sample of the study and its tools, and the psychometric characteristics of the measures used in the study. The fourth chapter presents and discusses the results of the study, and compares the current study with Arab and non-Arab studies.
