يتناول هذا الكتاب موضوع التعقيم والأحكام الشرعية والقانونية والطبية المتعلقة بها في فصلين، وفصل تمهيدي عن أسباب العقم الإرادية وتطوره التاريخي. الفصل الأول يتناول التعقيم الدائم ووسائله ومبرراته بين الفقه والطب والقانون الوضعي الدولي والمصري. الفصل الثاني يتناول التعقيم المؤقت وأحكامه. يناقش وسائل منع الحمل التقليدية والحديثة وآراء الفقهاء حول هذه الوسائل. يتناول الفصل أيضا موقف القانون الدولي والمصري من فكرة منع الحمل المؤقت، بالإضافة إلى الدوافع الإجتماعية والصحية وطرق معالجة العقم.
Abstract Translated
This book deals with the subject of sterilization and the Sharia-based, legal and medical provisions concerning them in two chapters, and a preliminary chapter on the reasons behind sterilization and its historical development. The first chapter deals with permanent sterilization and its methods and justifications between jurisprudence, medicine and international and Egyptian positive law. The second chapter deals with temporary sterilization and its provisions. It discusses traditional and contemporary contraceptive methods, and the jurists’ opinions towards these methods. It also deals with the position of international and Egyptian law towards the idea of temporary contraception, in addition to the social and health motives, and methods of treating infertility.
