This book consists of nine chapters on criminal identification and forensic medicine. It discusses the following topics: the importance of criminal identification and its uses, the characteristics of the forensic physician and the forensic dentist, using DNA fingerprinting and its applications in criminal identification, identifying the identity of an unknown living person, unidentified bodies, and body and skeletal remains, using the characteristics of teeth for identifying identity, how to identify the identities of victims of fires, explosions and plane accidents, using insecticide examination of the body as a means of identification, identity identification from the crime scene, the diagnosis of counterfeit marks in practicing forensic medicine, and the errors that can occur in this field.
