يتكون هذا الكتاب من فصل تمهيدي عن الإطار النظري لإستخدامات التكنولوجيا الحيوية والهندسة الوراثية واستخدامها، ونشأة وتطور الجينوم البشري. يتكون هذا الكتاب أيضا من ثلاثة أبواب رئيسية. الباب الأول يناقش البصمة الوراثية كأحد فروع التكنولوجيا الحيوية ودورها في الإثبات الجنائي، بالإضافة إلى موقف القانون والشريعة من الإثبات الجنائي. الباب الثاني يناقش الإستنساخ كفرع آخر في التكنولوجيا الحيوية ومدى مشروعية الإستنساخ. الباب الثالث يتناول موضوع حماية الخصوصية الجينية والمسئولية الجنائية عن استخدامات التكنولوجيا الحيوية.
Abstract Translated
This book consists of a preliminary chapter on the theoretical framework for using biotechnology and genetic engineering and their uses, in addition to the evolution and development of the human genome. The book also contains three main sections. The first section discusses genetic fingerprinting as one of the branches of biotechnology and its role in criminal prosecution, in addition to the position of law and Shariah towards criminal prosecution/forensics. The second section discusses cloning as another branch of biotechnology and the extent of the legitimacy of cloning. The third section deals with the subject of protecting genetic privacy and the criminal liability of using biotechnology.
