This book discusses a number of bioethical issues from a jurisprudential and legal perspective. It consists of eleven chapters discussing the following topics: clinical death, organ transplantation, blood transfusion, combatting human trafficking, stem cell therapy, artificial insemination and its jurisprudential rulings, the perspective of sharia concerning transplanting frozen embryos and sex pre-selection, surrogacy, genetically modified fetuses, the jurisprudential ruling regarding cloning and in vitro fertilization, and aborting deformed fetuses.
