يناقش الكتاب مكانة الأخلاق في الفكر الإسلامي، ويتكون من ستة فصول. يناقش الفصل الأول العقائد والعبادات والمعاملات الإسلامية، والأخلاق والجوانب الأخلاقية التي عالجها الإسلام. أما الفصل الثاني فيناقش أخلاق الفقهاء. و يناقش الفصل الثالث والرابع أخلاق المحدثين والمتكلمين. و يتناول الفصل الخامس الأخلاق عند الفلاسفة المسلمين مثل الفرابي وابن سينا. بينما يتناول الفصل السادس الأخلاق عند الصوفية وخاصة الغزالي.

Abstract Translated

This book deals with the subject of the status of ethics in Islamic thought. It consists of six chapters. The first chapter discusses Islamic beliefs, worship, dealings, ethics, and the ethical aspects that Islam addressed. The second chapter discusses the ethics of jurists. The third and fourth chapters discuss the ethics of those who noted the sayings of the Prophet and Mu'tazila. The fifth chapter deals with the ethics of Muslim philosophers such as al-Farabi and Ibn Sina. The sixth chapter deals with the ethics of Sufis, especially al-Ghazali.
