يحتوي الكتاب على ثلاث أبواب أساسية. الباب الأول يناقش مفاهيم عامة حول الأخلاق ومكانتها في الإسلام بالإضافة إلى مفهوم المصلحة العامة والإدارة في الإسلام. الباب الثاني يتناول الأخلاق الوظيفية المحمودة والمذمومة، المخالفات المهنية والتغلب عليها وشروط المهنة في الإسلام. أما الباب الأخير يناقش تطبيقات أخلاقية على الأنظمة الوظيفية والمهنية في المملكة العربية السعودية، بالإضافة إلى أخلاقيات مهنة الهندسة، الطب والمؤسسات التعليمية.

This book contains three main sections. The first section discusses the general concepts about ethics and its place in Islam, in addition to the conceptions of public interest and management in Islam. The second section discusses the commendable and non-desirable professional manners, professional irregularities and overcoming them, and conditions of the profession in Islam. As for the last section, it discusses the application of ethics in professional organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to ethics in the careers of engineering, medicine and educational institutions.
