يناقش هذا المقال تقنيات ما يعرف بأطفال الأنابيب من منظور إسلامي أخلاقي. يبدأ المقال باستعراض مفصل للمؤلفات والفتاوى التي صدرت حول هذا الموضوع. ثم يتعرض المؤلف لتفاصيل مختلف تقنيات أطفال الأنابيب وأحكامها في الفقه الإسلامي.

This article discusses the techniques of in vitro fertilization (IVF) from an Islamic ethical perspective. The article starts with an extensive review of relevant literature and fatwas on this topic. Thereafter, the author goes into the details of the different IVF techniques and their Islamic juristic rulings. I added Islamic ethics as a 691 [pri] term, but changed the following terms from 691 to 694 (infertility; paternity; science) to keep the focus at the level of whether the reproductive technologies are ethical from an Islamic standpoint (rather than on the more detailed underlying specifics of the questions they involve -- is that OK? Finally, is only the Western world involved, not the Muslim world?
