تتكون هذه المجموعة المؤلفة من ثلاثة مجلدات من عرض موجز لأهم الكتابات التي تناولت مفهوم علم النفس بالمعنى الحديث في التراث الإسلامي. ويبدأ كل فصل بمعلومات عن المؤلف، و عرض لأهم النقاط التي يتناولها الكتاب المذكور. وقسمت مجموعة الكتب موضوعاتها بحسب الترتيب التاريخي بداية من القرن الثاني الهجري أو الثامن الميلادي وحتى القرن الرابع عشر الهجري أو العشرين الميلادي.

This is a three-volume collection that comprises brief overview of some of the most important writings that deal with psychology in the modern sense in the Islamic heritage. Each chapter begins with a biographical note about the author and a summary of the contents of the book in question. The collection is arranged historically from the second Hijri century/eighth century to the fourteenth Hijri century/twentieth century.
