Abstract

تتكون هذه الفتوى من ثلاثة أجزاء رئيسية: (أ) حقائق عن التدخين حيث تتم الإشارة إلى أصل التبغ وأضرار التدخين (ب) الدخان والنصوص الشرعية ويستعرض النصوص ذات الصلة الواردة في القرآن والسنة (ج) رأي بعض العلماء في التدخين. ويخلص المفتي إلى القول بأن التدخين محرم من منظور إسلامي أخلاقي.

Abstract Translated

This fatwa consists of three main parts: (a) facts about smoking where reference is made to the origin of tobacco and the harms of smoking, (b)tobacco and scriptural references which reviews the relevant texts in the Qurʼan and Sunna and (c) opinions of some Muslim religious scholars on smoking. The Mufti concludes that smoking is forbidden from an Islamic ethical perspective.
