يقدم هذا المقال تحليلا تفصيليا لمفهوم الموت وكيف ينبغي أن يعرف في ضوء النقاشات الفقهية الإسلامية والمعارف الطبية الحديثة. ويخلص المؤلف إلى القول بأن موت الدماغ ينبغي أن يعتد به كضابط شرعي للموت.

This article gives a detailed analysis of the concept of death and how it should be defined in the light of Islamic juristic discussions and modern medical knowledge. The author concludes that brain death should be recognized as a Sharia-approved death criterion.
