The book discusses the foundations of Islamic ethics. It consists of five main chapters: introduction and general principles; man within the scope of Qurʼānic meanings; the Prophet, his great moral character, and his edification by the Qurʼān in the realm of moral behavior; ethical vocabulary and major ethical principles; commentary on texts comprising ethical dimensions.
