يتناول البحث موضوع السر الطبي من وجهة نظر الممارسة الطبية العملية ويركز على نقطتين رئيسيتين: طبيعة ونطاق العلاقة بين الطبيب والمريض؛ وأنواع الأسرار الطبية وحدود الخصوصية التي يكفلها القانون للمريض.

The article discusses medical confidentiality from the practical medical perspective. It focuses on two main points: the nature and scope of the physician patient relationship; and the types of medical secrets and the extent of medical privacy.

Special issue of the journal containing the articles submitted to a seminar organized by the Faculty of Law and Sharīʻah in Kuwait University under the title 'Legal and Human Problems associated with the Physician Patient Relationship' held in November 15-17, 1980.
