The book discusses the civil and criminal liability of physicians for medical errors according to sharia and positive law. It consists of eleven chapters: general rules; the medical profession; medical work; the nature of the physician patient relationship between sharia and law; physicians' crimes; medical errors; medical errors in the different stages of medical work; civil and criminal liability of physicians; identification of individuals responsible for errors in the different medical specialties; errors in medical specialties; and physicians’ duties towards their patients.
